This site is bold because I am, but yours doesn't have to be. Years of clinical work have fine-tuned my listening skills and I understand online landscapes pretty well. If you'd like to work together, I will listen carefully to what you need and hope to convey, then turn it into something beautiful, tangible and yours.
I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist in private practice in Bristol. I'm also a gardener, writer, business-builder and branding fanatic. Over the years I've made many a website and somehow got the hang of it. I find crafting online spaces bizarrely relaxing and often do it for fun. The psychology of brand positioning and digital expression fascinates me. I am excited to demystify a little bit of it for fellow therapists and business folk.

Think of this as an initial assessment for your online persona. We explore how you work and what you find beautiful — your favourite colours, fonts, moods, even room decor and scents. We get crystal clear on what you would like and the steps to get there. I shall ask you to sit with a few questions: what is different about your work? How do you want new clients to feel when they first visit your online space? Do you have a few photos you're comfortable using? I will then go away and draft your site architecture and come up with 2 design options for you.
We build on where we left off. You select which design resonates most deeply and think through domain names. I take detailed notes on what you say and how you say it. We review the design options together and you tell me all the ways it's not quite right, or quite you — or oh yes, that bit is perfect. I then go away and finetune your site based on your feedback, incorporating your words, voice and style. I purchase your chosen domain, handle the tech details and embed SEO optimisation into your website's DNA to help it rank in search engines.
Your website is live and you can explore it from your own home, from your own computer. We walk through it together, make any final small tweaks, and I hand over everything you need to feel confident with your new online home. Email and phone support is available for 60 days after we launch.
