Welcome to my new site. I truly appreciate your visit. I help therapists, counsellors and coaches find their space online. If you're confident in your consulting room but find online promotion bewildering, expensive or just a bit much — this is for you.

This site is bold because I am, but yours doesn't have to be. Years of clinical work have fine-tuned my listening skills and I understand online landscapes pretty well. If you'd like to work together, I will listen carefully to what you want, need and hope to convey, then turn it into something beautiful, tangible and yours.

I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist in private practice in Bristol. I'm also a gardener, writer, business-builder and branding fanatic. Over the years I've made many a website and somehow got the hang of it. I find crafting online spaces bizarrely relaxing and often do it for fun. The psychology of brand positioning and digital expression fascinates me. I am so excited to demystify a little bit of it for fellow therapists.

I'm launching Therapeutic Design and am looking for 7 clinicians who would like a website that expresses who they are, online. I'm offering this at a pilot rate of £333 (£595 thereafter) in exchange for honest feedback on my process. Feedback can be anonymous if you prefer. The process is simple:

Encounter

Here we explore how you work and what you find beautiful. We get crystal clear on what you would like and the steps to get there. I'll ask you questions about your favourite colours, aesthetic tastes, and how you want new clients to feel when they explore your site. I will then go away and draft your site architecture and come up with visual designs to show you.

Review

We review the drafts together. You tell me all the ways it's not quite right, or quite you, or oh yes, that bit is perfect. You select which design resonates most. I go away and finetune, purchase your chosen domain, handle the tech side, and embed SEO optimisation into your website's DNA to help it rank in search engines.

Activation

Your website is live. We'll walk through it together, make any final small tweaks, and I'll hand over everything you need to know to feel confident with your new online home. Email support is available for 60 days after launch.
